Tips for planning a metro trip
On the Red Line, trains going away from Centrepoint end at Expo 2020 or Life Pharmacy. Check the destination screen if you are going beyond National Paints.
In peak hours, some trains from Centrepoint end at Al Fardan Exchange; stay on the platform for the next one if you are going further.
Changing between the Red and Green lines at Union or BurJuman is part of the same fare.

How does the Dubai Metro journey planner work?
Choose your start and destination stations. The planner finds the route with the fewest line changes, tells you which direction to take, where to change at Union, BurJuman or National Paints, how many stops it is and how many fare zones you cross.
Is the fare shown exact?
It is an estimate based on the published zone of every station on the route and RTA's fare bands (AED 3, 5 or 7.50 with Silver). The amount charged at the exit gate is final.
Does it include buses and the tram?
No, it covers the Red and Green lines only. For door-to-door trips including buses, tram and walking, use RTA's S'hail app.
