Etihad Rail's Dubai passenger station opened on 30 September 2026 and is linked by a pedestrian bridge to Jumeirah Golf Estates metro station (Red Line, Expo 2020 branch). Trains run to Abu Dhabi and Fujairah, with fares from AED 39.

How to get to Etihad Rail by metro

  1. Take the Red Line to Jumeirah Golf Estates. From central Dubai, board a train with destination Expo 2020; the Red Line splits at National Paints and trains to Life Pharmacy do not stop at Jumeirah Golf Estates.
  2. Leave the metro and follow the signs to the pedestrian bridge to the Etihad Rail station.
  3. Use your journey planner or the planner on the station page to check stops and the metro fare.
