Dubai Tram

The Dubai Tram runs 10.6 km through Dubai Marina, JBR and Al Sufouh with 11 stations. It operates 6:00 am to 1:00 am (Sunday from 9:00 am), uses the same nol card and fares as the metro, and connects with the Red Line at DMCC and Sobha Realty.

Fares and tickets

The tram uses the nol system. With a Silver card a trip costs AED 3 within one zone, AED 5 across two and AED 7.50 across more; Gold Class costs double. Trams have Gold and Silver sections and space reserved for women and children. Tap your card on the platform validator before boarding and again when you leave. See nol cards and fares.

Changing between the tram and the metro

Palm Monorail connection

From the Palm Jumeirah tram stop, walk to the Palm Gateway monorail station. The Palm Monorail reopened in July 2026 after a six-month maintenance closure. It is run by a private operator, not RTA.

What are the Dubai Tram timings?

From 6:00 am to 1:00 am (next day) Monday to Saturday, and from 9:00 am to 1:00 am on Sunday, according to the tram operator.

How much is the Dubai Tram?

The tram uses the same nol card and fare zones as the metro: AED 3, 5 or 7.50 with a Silver card. Most tram trips stay within one or two zones.

Where can I change between the tram and the metro?

At Jumeirah Lakes Towers tram stop (metro: DMCC) and Dubai Marina tram stop (metro: Sobha Realty), both on the Red Line.

Does the tram go to Atlantis?

Not directly. Get off at the Palm Jumeirah tram stop and walk to the Palm Monorail Gateway station; the monorail runs to Atlantis Aquaventure with its own tickets.

How much is the Palm Monorail?

Single tickets start from AED 5 and return tickets from AED 10, depending on the stations, according to the operator; the full line from Gateway to Atlantis is reported at AED 10 one way and AED 15 return. A day pass starts from AED 35, and children below 110 cm ride free.

Can I transfer from the tram to the metro on the same fare?

Yes. With a nol card you can transfer between tram, metro and bus within 30 minutes as part of one journey; tap in and out on every service.
