About the Green Line
The Dubai Metro Green Line is one of the two operational lines of the Dubai Metro network, running parallel to the iconic Dubai Creek. Inaugurated on September 9, 2011, the Green Line connects the bustling neighborhoods of Deira and Bur Dubai, serving as a vital transportation artery for residents and tourists alike. With 20 stations spanning 22.5 kilometers, the line combines 12 elevated and 8 underground stations, offering seamless connectivity to major residential, commercial, and cultural districts.
Route Coverage
The Green Line runs from Etisalat by e& station in Al Qusais to Creek station near Dubai Creek, passing through historic areas including Gold Souq, Al Ras, and Bur Dubai.
Operating Hours
Trains run from 5:00 AM to midnight Monday-Thursday and Saturday, 5:00 AM to 1:00 AM on Friday, and 8:00 AM to midnight on Sunday. Frequency: 3-4 minutes during peak hours, 7 minutes off-peak.
Train Features

Important Information
Transfer Stations: Union (G20) and BurJuman (G26) allow seamless transfers to the Red Line. These are among the busiest stations, handling up to 22,000 passengers per hour. Al Qiyadah (G16) is the largest elevated station with capacity for 11,000 passengers per hour in each direction.
